Nury Nury was born during the quiet stillness of COVID, when life slowed in ways none of us had ever imagined. 

 

With nowhere to go and no occasions to dress for, I found myself opening old jewellery boxes—pieces I had carefully saved for "special moments." One day, I wore them anyway. At home. For myself. No celebration, no audience, no reason beyond wanting to feel a little brighter.

Something shifted.

Those pieces felt different. More personal. They reminded me that jewellery isn't meant to wait inside a box for the perfect occasion. It is meant to be lived in—to become part of everyday life, collecting stories, memories, and meaning with every wear. Jewellery doesn't become special because of an occasion; it becomes special because of the life lived while wearing it.

At the same time, I found myself drawn to the extraordinary craftsmanship of Indian artisans—makers whose skills have been passed down through generations, preserving techniques that deserve to be celebrated. Across quiet workshops and hidden ateliers, their hands continue to shape metal and set stones with remarkable patience, artistry, and care.
